• Classes and leadership retreat with a focus on church planting in La Coruña.
• Our cell group met without Fabio and I present.
• Having a record 26 people two weeks ago at our cell group.
• Several people have expressed interest in discipleship and service.
• Talking with a homeless man, Ignacio, who speaks three or four languages, play hard rock music on a classical guitar, and was reading Plato when I met him.
• Possibility to serve with a group that reaches out to Muslim immigrants.
• Getting to teach a few classes in Spanish and English at two different centers.
• Meeting other pastors and missionaries in the area for a tour in the Museum of the History of Catalunya.
• Eating that whole pan of paella myself… Just kidding… But maybe about a third of it…
This is the picture of our cell group from two weeks ago. One of the things I love about the group is that it is multi-cultural, multi-national, multi-lingual… and they LOVE being together. In the picture above, there are people from Brazil, Taiwan, Germany, Columbia, Mexico, Sweden, Peru, Italy, Bolivia, the U.S. (and more specifically Texas!) Ecuador, England, and of course Spain (all actually from Catalunya!). It’s amazing to me who God is bringing together here. We’ve been able to talk about many things: knowing God and having a relationship with Him, loneliness, being salt and light to a dark world, service, and next week we’ll be talking about life as community. It’s been awesome to see many people growing, and many growing towards a relationship with God through Jesus. And, when the study and singing and prayer are all over, we stick around and hang out, eating, laughing, sharing our lives, often until two in the morning! Amazing…
A lot of times, I just sit stunned at what is going on. A lot of times I feel like I just get going, being with people, get busy, and all of a sudden two weeks go by, and I haven’t even thought a thought. Even now I feel like I’m out of whack, not processing and not explaining well the things that are going on. So, this blog is going to be a little shorter.
But I’d also like to ask for prayer:
• Discernment in where to volunteer and devote my time outside the group.
• A good, regular schedule, with good activities and good priorities.
• Boldness and wisdom in talking to people.
• Good rest and good health.
• A place for us to meet regularly.
• Guidance for future decisions.
Thanks everyone! I love you all and miss you!
Grace and Peace,
Nate

Nate, I will pray that you recieve wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in everything that you face. I am also thankful that our God recognizes the need for technology; "little" things like working laptops remind us that we do have an awesome King...
